White throated fantail is small passerine bird.
How does the bird appear…
It has dark fan shaped tail with white edges. It can be easily spotted and identified with its fan tail and white supercillium and throat.
Habitat: Where to find this bird?
It mostly prefers rainforests, but is also seen in tropical dry forests, secondary growths, wooded gardens within urban areas, arable land and bamboo thickets.
It is insectivorous and forages in undergrowth.
Breeding & Nesting
It breeds from February to March. Cup shaped nest is built by both male and female. Incubation period is of 12-13 days.
