Tadoba is oldest and largest National Park in Chandrapur district of Maharashtra. This is dry deciduous forest. Teak is prominent tree species found over here.
The Bengal tiger is main attraction but other mammals found are Indian Leopard, Sloth bear, Gaur, Nilgai, Dhole, Striped Hyena, Small Indian civet, Jungle cat, Sambar, Spotted deer, Barking deer, Chital, Chausingha and Honey badger. Also around 190 bird species are found over here.

Spotted Owlet, Spotted Dove, Brahminy Starling, Black Shouldered Kite, Common Kingfisher, Common Hawk Cuckoo, Oriental Magpie Robin, Common Myna, Rock Pigeon, Indian Roller, Pied Myna, Indian Roller, Black-shouldered Kite, Southern Coucal, Rufous Treepie, Jungle Owlet, orange-headed thrush.
