Sandi Bird Sanctuary (Uttar Pradesh)


Sandi Bird Sanctuary is located in Hardoi district of Uttar Pradesh. The sanctuary was created in the year 1990 in order to protect the natural habitats and aquatic vegetation for the local residents and migratory birds.

Birds commonly seen:

Ruddy Shelduck, Great Crested Grebe, Pin Tail, White Storks, Black lbis, Common Teal, Glossy lbis, Spoonbill, Sholveller, Coot, Spot Bill Duck, White Wagtail, Mallard, Painted Stock, Pin Tail Snipe, Wigeon, Grey Lag Goose, Tufted Pochard, Cotton Teal, Gargancey Teal, Common Tern, Gadwall, Common Pochard, Common Snipe, Black Tailed Godwit, Marsh Sand Piper, River Tern, Magpie Robin, Pied Wagtail, Starlings, White lbis, Curlew, Red Crested Pochard,  Indian Skimmer etc.
