Rufous-winged fulvetta


Rufous-winged fulvetta is noisy bird.

How does the bird appear…

It is small olive-brown and whitish babbler with dark-streaked chestnut crown. It has white supercillium. It has bright rufous primaries and black coverts.

Habitat: Where to find this bird?

It is found in evergreen montane forests.


It feeds mainly on insects.

Breeding & Nesting

In Indian Subcontinent it breeds from April to July. Nest is a open cup built by both male and female.
