Nepal fulvetta is small, restless and shy bird.
How does the bird appear…
It has grey tinged crown and upper back which shades to pale warm brown on rest of the upper back till tail. It has prominent white eye ring. Throat, center breast and upper part of belly are whitish. Flanks are buffy-brown.
Habitat: Where to find this bird?
It inhabits subtropical or tropical moist lowland forests and subtropical or tropical moist montane forests.
It feeds mainly on insects and nectar but also takes berries.
Breeding & Nesting
It breeds from March to July. Nest is deep cup shaped structure. Nest is built by both male and female.
