Manjira Wildlife Sanctuary (Telangana)


Manjira wildlife sanctuary is located in Medak district of Telangana. It is originally a crocodile sanctuary, today more than 70 species of birds are spotted here.

Birds commonly seen:

Common teal, Cotton pygmy goose, Ruddy shelduck, Barheaded geese, Darter, Asian open bill,  Painted stork, Eurasian coot, Black-crowned night heron, Indian skimmer, Oriental white ibis etc.
