Maenam Wildlife Sanctuary (Sikkim)


Maenama Wildlife Sanctuary, is in the South Sikkim district of Sikkim . The sanctuary is known as a wealth of medicinal plants.

Birds commonly seen:

Common Hill Partridge, Black Eagle, Warber, Common Rose Finch, Crested Serpent Eagle, Gold headed Black Finch, Tree Sparrow, Red headed Bullfinch, Green Pigeon, Spotted Dove, Common Hawk Cuckoo, Blood Pheasant, Speckled Wood Pigeon, Sunbirds etc.
