Khijadiya Bird Sanctuary (Gujarat)


Khijadiya bird sanctuary is unique having both fresh water lakes, salt and freshwater marshlands. It is situated in Jamnagar district of Gujarat. It hosts around 200 bird species.

Birds commonly seen:

Black-necked stork, Great crested grebe, Indian spotted eagle, Common greenshank, Grey francolin, Garganey, Dalmatian pelican
