Karnala Bird Sanctuary (Maharashtra)


Karnala Bird Sanctuary is located in Panvel Taluka of Raigad District, Maharashtra. It hosts around 150 varieties of resident and 37 types of migratory bird species.

Resident birds– Asian Paradise Flycatcher, Robin, Shama, Malabar Whistling Thrush, Red Vented Bulbul, Racket- tailed Drongo

Migratory birds– ashy minivet, red-breasted flycatcher, blackbird, black-headed cuckoo-shrike, blue-throat
