Great Himalayan National Park (Himachal Pradesh)


The Great Himalayan National Park is located in Kullu region in the Himachal Pradesh. It was added in the UNESCO list of World Heritage Sites in June 2014. Around 181 bird species can be seen here. It also homes  animals such as blue sheep, snow leopard, Himalayan brown bear, Himalayan tahr, and musk deer.

Other birds- Himalayan monal,  Lammergeier, Himalayan Golden vulture, Golden eagle,  Long-tailed Minivet, Yellow-bellied Fantail, Wallcreeper, White-collared and Grey-winged blackbird, laughing thrush, Scaly-breasted Wren Babbler, Spectacled Finch, Golden Bush Robin etc
