Gorumara Wildlife Sanctuary (West Bengal)

Gorumara National Park is in northern West Bengal. It is famous for Indian rhinoceros. Around 194 bird species are found here.

Birds commonly seen:

Scarlet minivet, Sunbird, Asian paradise flycatchers, Spangled drongo, Indian hornbill, Peafowl, Brahminy duck. Numerous woodpeckers and pheasants are found in the park.

The sanctuary is well connected by road to all major cities.

6 am to 5 pm

The park remains closed from 15th June to 15th September.
