Fakim Wildlife Sanctuary (Nagaland)

Fakim Wildlife Sanctuary is located on the border of Myanmar in the northern eastern part of Nagaland. The Fakim Sanctuary receives high rainfall and is home to numerous flora & fauna.

Birds commonly seen:

Indian Horn Bill, Grey Pheasant, Tragopan Pheasant, Green Pogeon, Doves, Jungle Fowl, Grey pheasant etc.
Blyth’s Tragopan, which is State Bird of Nagaland is also seen here.

NH 39 links Nagaland to Guwahati by road. Once in Kohima, you can easily reach the sanctuary by bus or taxi.
