Dipor Bil or Deepor Beel Wildlife Sanctuary (Assam)

Dipor Bil, also spelt Deepor Beel wildlife sanctuary is located in Kamrup district of Assam. This is a wetland forest. Around 219 bird species are seen here, the largest congregations of aquatic birds can be seen here, particularly in winter.

Birds commonly seen:

Spotbilled pelican, Lesser adjutant stork, Pochard ,Pallas sea eagle, Greater adjutant stork, Siberian crane etc.
