Its habitat is undergrowth in moist forests and scrub jungle. The bird prefers dense vegetation.
It feeds mainly on insects and nectar.
Breeding & Nesting
Breeding season is from January to June. The nest is cup shaped and is are positioned near the main stem. Incubation period is of 10-12 days.
