Bhindawas Bird Sanctuary (Haryana)


Bhindwas Bird Sanctuary is situated near Jhajjar town in Jhajjar district of Haryana.The sanctuary got its name from Bhindwas lake in Jhajjar district. Around 250 resident and migratory birds can be seen here.

Birds commonly seen:

Blue Peafowl, Gray Francolin, Black Francolin, Graylag Goose, Ruddy Shelduck, Bar-headed Goose, Comb Duck, Gadwall, Eurasian Wigeon, Common Teal, Northern Pintail, Northern Shoveler, Common Pochard, Black-rumped Flameback, Pied Cuckoo, Common Hawk Cuckoo, Eurasian Collared Dove, Mallard, Crested Lark, Jungle Babbler etc.
